After a two-decade music career, Jenny from the block is being honored at this year’s 2018 MTV Video Music Awards. On July 31st, Jennifer Lopez revealed that she will be the recipient of the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award live on the network with Sway Calloway. After selling over 80 million records worldwide and earning herself three #1 albums, J. Lo will perform at this year’s live show for the first time since 2001. The wins don’t stop there; she is also nominated for two “VMAs” for her most recent single, “Dinero” featuring DJ Khaled and Cardi B. Jennifer Lopez is being recognized for her amazing talent and the great success she’s established over the years with her music. Previous Vanguard winners include Michael Jackson himself, Madonna, Guns N’ Roses, Britney Spears, Justin Timberlake, Beyonce, Kanye West, Rihanna, and P!nk.
