The apologies continue raining in!
During his “Straight From The Hart” podcast, actor and comedian Kevin Hart apologized to the LGBTQ community once again. On Monday (January 7th), Hart got into another deep conversation regarding his past homophobic comments and tweets which ended in him sincerely saying:
"Once again, Kevin Hart apologizes for his remarks that hurt members of the LGBTQ community. I apologize."
These remorseful acknowledgements continue to come as a pleasant surprise considering when Kevin turned down The Academy, he stated he will not continue to apologize for remarks he has made in the past and has already taken responsibility and apologized for years ago. Also, last week, Kevin appeared on Ellen and in his most recent post he mentions, "I sincerely apologize to the LGBTQ community for my insensitive words from my past."
We are happy to see that Kevin Hart is being a man of his word and is reiterating his genuine apologies to fans and those of the LGBT community. Although there is still no word on whether or not Hart will be reinstated as the host for the 2019 Oscars ceremony, but we are hoping so following his change of heart before and after the backlash.
