As reported earlier, rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine is cooperating with the feds and now appears to be striking a plea deal. He initially didn’t want to cooperate but it looks like Tekashi 69 has had a change of heart. On January 23rd, 6ix9ine entered a plea deal, pleading guilty to 9 counts in the federal indictment. Consisting of racketeering, conspiracy, firearm related charges and narcotics trafficking. The only charge he didn’t plead guilty to is the April 3rd, 2018 robbery of Nine Trey rivals’ gang.
After being indicted in November and facing up to a lifetime in prison, it was clear that he would cop a plea deal if he could. After It is unclear as to what the sentence will be following these new charges filed yesterday, the new indictments of Tekashi’s associates, and now the guilty pleas.
According to new federal documents, the Bronx rapper was involved with dealing large quantities of heroin, fentanyl, ecstasy, amphetamines, and marijuana. His conspiracy charges consists of multiple counts of murder, robbery, and extortion. Also included in these docs is the Tekashi video of him offering a $30,000 bounty for someone to shoot Chief Keef’s cousin, Tadoe. Because of this, the feds say he “aided and abetted the shooting at rivals of Nine Trey at a hotel in Times Square.” Days later following Tekashi's offer, shots were fired at Keef’s cousin in Times Square in June of 2018.
