Yikes, looks like Wendy Williams’ leave of absence due to health reasons may lead to her being absent for good. Wendy has been one of the biggest radio and talk show host for over two decades. Within the last decade she’s been one of the most famous talk show host but now she may be in jeopardy of losing her show. During her hiatus to focus on her health, multifaceted host Nick Cannon has been filling in on her program.

On top of everything going on with her health, she's also in the middle of a pretty crazy scandal involving her husband. Kevin Hunter has reportedly been leading a double life and has gotten another woman pregnant. Some people feel that that's the real reason Wendy has been out of commission.

As for the future of her show, it doesn’t look too bright. According to Daily Mail, sources say that several staff members of the show have demanded that she doesn’t return and is permanently replaced by Cannon who was this week’s temporary host. Her staff is claiming that Wendy hasn’t been “authentic” with her employees in regards to her absence after taking such a long break from the show.

One member of the production team told Daily Mail:

"I mean it's probably time Wendy steps away from the show. She's not authentic anymore. How can she discuss hot topics when the biggest topic involves her husband publicly cheating on her for years?"

When asked who they would like to see replace her if it came to that, a good number of staffers stated that they want Nick Cannon or Jerry O'Connell to take over. Wendy is apparently "scared" that there's a legitimate chance she loses her show. We'll update you as the story develops.
