Underground Artist Spotlight: Lithe Could Be Australia's Next Global Star

Not every artist has the privilege of beginning their journey with millions of listeners. Some build their careers one song at a time until they find that hit song that breaks them into mainstream. Australian artist Lithe is one of those names that deserves a closer look.

Known for his dark, melodic sound over atmospheric trap production, Lithe has quietly developed a style that blends emotion with smooth vocals. His music carries similar melodic approach to Don Toliver while still maintaining its own identity through darker club inspired instrumentals and moody production.

Many listeners first discovered Lithe through his breakout record "Fall Back." The song generated enough momentum to earn remix collaborations from both NAV and Lil TJay, introducing his music to an even larger audience and proving that major artists were beginning to recognize his potential.

As his career continued to grow, another major opportunity arrived when Don Toliver teamed up with Lithe on two standout tracks titled "FaceTime" and "Cannonball." FaceTime highlights the chemistry between two artists, combining dreamy melodies with a smooth, late-night atmosphere. Both artists complement each other's vocal styles, creating a record that feels effortless from beginning to end. Cannonball, on the other hand, brings a darker and more energetic approach. The productions feels heavier, while Lithe and Don Toliver trade melodic performances that make the song feel perfect for late-night drives or packed clubs. Together, the two collaborations show that Lithe can comfortably hold his own alongside one of today's biggest melodic artists.

Most recently, Lithe released his project, Euphoria, continuing to expand his sound while building a growing international fan base. The album demonstrates his confidence as both a songwriter and performing, showing that he isn't afraid to experiment while staying true to the style that first attracted listeners.

With Euphoria adding another strong project to his catalog and his fan base continuing to grow around the world, don't be surprised if the next time you hear his name, it won't be in the underground conversation anymore, it'll be mainstream. Have you listened to Lithe yet? If so, what's your favorite song from his catalog, and do you think he's the next artist ready to break through on a global scale?
