Watch Brooklyn’s Jay Citee “Pull Up”
Jay Citee is an artist coming out of Brooklyn who’s love for music has grown stronger over the years. At the age of three he was able to play the drums and would any chance he got. His ear for distinctive tempos and flows was cultivated during his youth.
The Bedford rapper knew that the music industry wasn’t only about the art but about business too. While interning at several media outlets such as Power 105.1, Jay kept establishing his brand and songwriting. He’s created hooks and original songs for other fellow artists.
Citee’s original and unique sound has won him awards for his performances in multiple showcases within the last year. He’s opened up for Hip Hop shakers such as Playboi Carti and Dave East. Not only does Jay rap, write and perform but he’s also professionally involved with NYC nightlife, giving him another opportunity to grow as a brand. He understands the music industry from multiple perspectives. A grind and focus like Jay’s can’t be contained so he’s put it all into his new project, ‘In My Own Lane‘. It’s a testament to his experience in the music scene; its a showcase of distinguished sound and multiple talents.
Jay Citee’s latest single “Pull Up” was written while he was in a great space mentally having it only take a little under an hour to complete. It all just seemed to fall in place for the BK rapper. The Cash Money AP produced single “Pull Up” and overall project do not consist of any features.
“I noticed that a lot of people like to talk but they never want to pull up; me and my bros pull up…I was just saying how I felt. I want my supporters to see what I flavor I can bring on my own. A lot of long nights went into putting this production together so I know people will love it. I feel satisfied with this project.”
Since his start in music when he would play the drums at three years old, Jay Citee has accomplished a lot. From the looks of it he has no intention of slowing down and as fans we don’t expect him to! Make sure to keep a look out for new heat from Jay Citee.
