Since the announcement, we’ve seen a lot of impressive imagery from Disney’s The Lion King remake. Now that they all got to talking, it has taken things to the next level!
When the Queen Bey tells you to take your place as King, you do it. The iconic songstress and forthcoming lioness shared a new snippet from the virtual-animated production in which Beyoncé is playing Nala, the childhood friend of and future queen to Simba (Donald Glover).
Beyoncé took to her official Facebook page to debut the new teaser of her doing some brief speaking as she voices the grown version of Nala in Jon Favreau’s film. This is the most Nala-centric footage release as of yet.

Courtesy of the new 30-second clip we finally get to hear the Queen of the jungle. As one of the most anticipated movies of 2019, The Lion King hits theaters July 19th, featuring Donald Glover as Simba, Chiwetel Ejiofor as Scar, Seth Rogen as Pumbaa, Billy Eichner as Timon, John Kani as Rafiki, John Oliver as Zazu, Alfre Woodard as Sarabi, Keegan-Michael Key as Kamari, Eric Andre as Azizi, and Florence Kasumba as Shenzi.
