ZacZeta, aka Zacari Nicasio, is a young emerging artist buzzing out of Los Angeles, California. His hyphy yet hard creative sound is an inspired combination of West Coast influencers Nipsey Hussle, Frank Ocean, and Tyler the Creator. Growing up in LA, the music gave ZacZeta the outlet necessary for him to express himself. His motivation to begin making music stemmed from him wanting to see the people around him in better positions. He continues to make music because of the vision and feeling that the sounds and lyrics evoke.
Zac’s career goal is to be successful and to continue delivering great music that will help others through their tough times. When asked what success means to him, ZacZeta says: “Success, for me, is being black in America and figuring out a way to survive without becoming fuel for the system.”
Zeta has worked with various artists and producers such as Kevin Gates, JPBeatsProductions, and FrostydaSnowMann. To date, he has performed at The Canyon Club, in Agoura Hills, CA, as an opener for SirMixAlot.
In 2017, ZZ released the song “Swyper No Swyping” featuring fellow LA artist FrostydaSnowMann with production from JPBeatsProduction. The record garnered 72.4k on Soundcloud along with great local and online response, definitely making it a highlight on ZacZeta’s rise to success. Living in a dangerous area and learning the importance of maintaining constant awareness of your surroundings is what inspired the creation of the track.
ZacZeta kicked off the new year with his first full project titled, “Progressive.” The EP received great feedback from his core fan-base. He has also released singles such as ZetaGangCastle (Remix) ft Kevin Gates (Spotify – 27k, Soundcloud 93.2k), Savage Mode, and Coach Carter.
Looking to the future, ZacZeta is working on new music for the fans. He is currently recording his next project “TheGlassCastle Prod. By JPBeatsProductions” which will be released later this year.
