Atlanta’s ‘Cutting Ties’ rapper 6lack stopped by Sway’s Universe to spit a hot freestyle in preparation for the release of his forthcoming sophomore album ‘East Atlanta Love Letter.’
In doing so, he showcased his versatile musical talents reminding fans that he is more that a Grammy-nominated R&B singer, but that he can write up dope lyrics and spit a fire 16. Before rebranding himself, 6lack was known for rapping with an excellent ear for lyricism and flow.
Sway decided to pick a song of his choice, which in surprise 6lack instantly recognized it to be Travis Scott’s “Coffee Bean” of of his recently released ‘Astroworld.’ 6lack kicks off the freestyle smoothly with a cunning intro. During the brief yet memorable freestyle, 6lack makes a playful jab at Nicki Minaj about her promotion roll out for her latest release, “Queen.”
