In 2018, the Crown is for the taking and watch AdELA do just that!

Hailing all the way from Durban, South Africa, the multitalented AdELA continues to bring her witty rap lyrics and soulful vocals to the game ! The “Dreamers and Thinkers” artist recently dropped the visuals for her third single “Crown” featuring heavy weight emcees Royce Da 5’9 and Jon Connor off her latest EP.

The comic concept visual was inspired and directed by multi-platinum producer and Grammy Award winner, STREETRUNNER. The video consists of comic book clips of what seems to be the first episode of a possible series… Flashing throughout the comic you see illustrations of AdELA, Royce Da 5’9, and Jon Connor with their lyrics all around them and inside word bubbles.

It kicks off with AdELA standing out in a crowd letting us know why her crown can’t be taken. Next up is a lesson from Chapter 1 where Royce Da 5’9 teaches fans to never trust a thot or let a critic tell you what you’re not. Chapter two loops back to AdELA spitting her bars leading up to Jon Connor’s bangin’ hot verse. The visual concept compared with the lyricism of this dope trio is a must see ! Check out the official video for “Crown” below.
