After making an appearance at Hot 97 late last year , the Brooklyn, rapper, Dash Flash is back for more! Currently residing in Connecticut the Hip Hop newcomer has no issue putting on for both cities. Growing up with a single mother who had to work multiple jobs to make ends meet, he spent much of his time with friends. This time spent with friends led to the inspiration for many of his songs. To fund his passion, Dash Flash joined the military at the age of nineteen.
His hard work in 2017 alone led to a distribution deal with Empire. So far, he’s colloborated in songs with Hip Hop movers and shakers such as Lil Wayne, Rich the Kid, Zoey Dollaz and many more. Though he’s very much accomplish in his career already, he continues to grind every day and not settle.
It’s said that the best art is made when the artist is emotional and Flash’s “Mobbin” is the proof of just that. After a frustrating day, the BK native began writing the record. Dash and D Savage lay out their verses over the fire O.T. Genasis ‘CoCo’ and ‘Cut It’ inspired King Wonka beat in about 40 minutes. Flash goes on to say:
“Song is really hood but it felt like a punching bag and it made me feel so much better after.”
The collaboration between D Savage and Dash came about through mutual connects. The visual is inspired by ideas that have been cooked up from every time the two linked up.
The Empire artist surprised fans with the “Mobbin” visual today. This is the record that is going to take their music careers to new heights! The official music video premiered on WorldStar today at 4PM EST and the audio is now available on all major streaming platforms.
