French Montana continues to give back to the families of Uganda and is tapping Adam Levine for the assist!
On Monday, (August 27th) French Montana released the remix to his Jungle Rules’ “Famous” record recruiting Maroon 5’s very own Adam Levine. The two collaborated on the remix so that they can give back to the families of Uganda. All of the proceeds will go towards the remaining $225,000 left to complete the rebuilding of the Suubi “Hope” Health Center, an underfunded maternity and children's health clinic located in Uganda and any additional funding that’s needed. The rebuilding of the hospital is one of Montana’s many humanitarian efforts. The “Unforgettable” rapper previously partnered up with MAMA HOPE and Global Citizens’ #2BSTRONG Campaign to create his #Unforgettable healthcare campaign. The campaign raised $500,000 in proceeds which was used to build prenatal care clinics, birth houses and to buy an ambulance, also in Uganda. Following his trip to Uganda last year for his “Unforgettable” video, Montana was inspired to give back to the Suubi Center.
Adam Levine is also a humanitarian and was excited to hop on the song to give back to a great cause. In a recent press release about the rebuilding of the hospital, Levine shared some kind words.
“I’m excited to be on this song with French and have the proceeds go to something so special and that’s really making a difference.”
The completion of project will allow the hospital to expand its construction, give residents access to water as well as providing healthcare access to 58 villages with a population of more than 450,000 people. The new video features the early building stages of the Suubi “Hope” Health Center and Ugandan dancers, Triple Ghetto Kids.
