New music coming from Garden State rapper The Cause. Today he releases his new single “Another Chapter”.
High off a trip to Atlanta where he met Rico Wade and Sleepy Brown to shoot a video with Big Rube, the NJ emcee did a freestyle over OutKast’s “Aquemini.” After spittin fire bars with the homies, the Cause wanted to do more. He tapped Datamo$h to sample the classic and record a track.
Mixed by Shy Boogs of So Amazin’ Studios, the simplicity of snares and low base paired with the cadence of his flow, the track is reminiscent of the late 90s. Cause raps about what he’s been through, where he’s been, and returning from the dead.
The single is off his upcoming EP, “Release Party” which features artists like Fuzz Rico, and DoItAll of the legendary Lords Of The Underground. This new record is a perfect sneak peak for what The Cause has in store for fans. Not only is the record vibing, but the visual gives insight to who he is as an artist, the meaning of the song and love to the Dirty Jerz. Check it out below.
