Brooklyn’s local heavyweight Isaiah Write brought an ill fresh sound with his latest project, “Neighborhood Watch” that dropped early last December. The album is full of energy talking about situations and people the rapper has met throughout his life. Gaining musical inspiration from various artists such as Notorious BIG, Drake, and Young Thug, Write’s music and style shows his versatility as a rapper. He creates a more gentle version of trap music describing it as “Soundcloud Rap.”
Write just released the visuals for his most recent banger, “Callin’ featuring Buggy and Wonton. The Nibiru and Yungxance produced track is catchy with a subtle R&B beat paired with his high energy trap music cadence. Collaborating often, Nibiru sent over the track and Write thought it was hot so the rest was history. Wanting to create something different, Write had his manager set up a studio session with Wonton and had Buggy pull up. Immediately the trio vibed out and the record was completed in two hours. The visual has a vintage, documentary feel to it and was shot by film director, Ness.
Daily giving his fans what they want and garnering more buzz, it’s clear that Isaiah Write is on the rise to being a star with his unparalleled artistry, lyrical talent and go getter mentality. Stay tuned there’s more heat dropping in the spring.
