Hailing from Toronto, is indie female artist Sochitta Sal aka Honey Cocaine. The emerging Torontonian rapper of Cambodian descent was discovered by the Young Money when he came across a freestyle video she posted on YouTube over his “Rack City” instrumental.
Honey C has gained mainstream recognition since her debut collaboration with Tyga on ‘Heisman,’ ‘Heisman Pt. 2,’ and with her freestyle for ‘Rack City.’ Many ask the Cambodian artist how she came up with her stage name, and believe it or not her name holds significance. The “Honey” represents the filling of her music… sweet and addicting while “Cocaine” represents the rawness of her lyrics and environment.
Since stepping foot in the game back in 2012, she has released three mixtapes; throughout her young career, Honey C has collaborated with Tyga, Chanel West Coast, Teyana Taylor, Michael Mazze, Roxie LS, Yultron, Kid Ink, Dizzy Wright and many more…
While enjoying her independent journey, she blessed fans by recently dropping her new hit single “No Time” along with the official visual. You can check out the official video below. Stay tuned because Honey Cocaine’s clout only continues to grow as she focuses on her fans, brand, and vision!
