Hot Girls Win The Summer With Megan Thee Stallion's "Hot Girl Summer" Visual

For those of us who aren’t ready to let go of summer so soon - no worries, the Houston Hottie looked out! The visuals for Megan Thee Stallion’s summer banger “Hot Girl Summer” featuring Ty Dolla $ign and Nicki Minaj are finally here! Megan has extended summer with the new video for “Hot Girl Summer” featuring Nicki Minaj and Ty Dolla $ign. If you’re trying to dance along to the twerk-filled video—RIP to your knees unless you have great stamina or bones made of vibranium.

The new visual paints a portrait of what a real hot girl summer looks like. Made up of neon green cowboy hats, mesh tops over bikini bottoms fit for a raucous pool party, and lots of leopard print. Stallion and Minaj match in their highlighter yellow zebra print sets. Throughout the visual full of summer vibes, there are also many guest appearances. Alongside Nicki and Ty Dolla $ign are cameos from Rico Nasty, La La Anthony, Ari Lennox, Summer Walker and more. To capture the true essence of what a “Hot Girl Summer” looks like, the rappers tapped none other than regular collaborator, Munachi Osegbu, to direct the visual. Osegbu helmed Meg’s previous viral videos “Realer” and “Big Ole Freak.”

During the making of the music video, the "Hot Girl Summer" got chilled down by LAPD who nearly torpedoed their music video. Sources say cops crashed Meg's attempt to shoot her video for 'HGS' in the Mount Olympus neighborhood of Los Angeles ( the heart of the Hollywood Hills).

The reasoning is that she allegedly didn't have the proper permits. Law enforcement later mentioned that someone snitched to the cops and that’s why they arrived. But you know she had to rectify the situation for her Stallionaires. Meg and the production team improvised and were able to lock in another location about 50 miles East of L.A. in Chino Hills and wrap up the final scenes the same night.

Back in June, Megan explained her interpretation of the concept to The Root:

“It’s about women and men just being unapologetically them, just having a good ass time, hyping up your friends, doing you, not giving a damn what nobody got to say about it.”

Of course you have to also be the life of the party to really do the phrase justice.Last month after revealing plans for her junior year at Texas Southern University, Megan confirmed Hot Girl Summer is quickly approaching to become a Hot Nerd Fall.

“Being a hot girl is like a lifestyle, and everyone knows I’m still in college. It’s gonna be a real hot girl semester, you know what I’m saying? Real Hot Nerd Fall, so I’m just about to start puttin’ on for all my school girls.”

She told Access Hollywood.

The almost-perfect phrase coined by Houston-based rapper has undeniably become a full-on phenomenon. The summer heated up 2019, and if Hot Nerd Fall is going to be as hot as Hot Girl Summer, then we are more than ready!
