Kehlani’s year just keeps getting sweeter and sweeter. Two weeks ago she received the Rule Breaker of the Year award in Los Angeles at the Billboard Women In Music. Her single “Honey” was released in October but now the singer has dropped the romantic visual.
The visual takes place on her family’s land in Guinda, CA. The warmly toned filter video shows Kehlani all smiles while she spends quality time with a woman as they laugh and enjoy nature together. Correlating with the title of the track, there are also scenes of honey dripping from Kehlani’s lips and bees buzzing in the open field. The short road trip inspired video concludes with Kehlani and the lead woman sharing a passionate kiss as the sun sets behind them.
Perfect timing since it was released a week after the world saw the SweetSexySavage singer-songwriter perform an acoustic version of the song at the Billboard’s Women In Music.
