The New York Giant’s No. 13, Odell Beckham Jr is the most recent NFL player to have a sneaker collab! Beckham is teaming up with his sponsor, Nike, for his own lifestyle sneaker. It’s called the “Nike Special Field Air Force-1 Mid OBJ.”
The canvas of the sneaker will be the most recent version of Nike’s Air Forces with a touch of that Odell flavor. Inspired by the everyday New York City lifestyle, the shoes colorway will resemble the NYC yellow cabs. The entire top half of the sneaker will be a bright “Taxi” yellow with the midsole and outsole made up of gum bottoms. Also, a woven Nike Air Force 1 swoosh label with Odell’s initials are featured on the tongue of the sneaker in black.
But that’s not all… there’s more! OBJ’s decorative details also appear on the straps of the sneaker. The details on one strap include his jersey number and recognition to his hometeam’s playing field, Metlife Stadium. While Odell’s birth city, Baton Rouge, Louisiana is seen on the other.
