All seven sneakers that are set to release as part of the Dragon Ball Z x Adidas Originals collaboration have been revealed! Earlier in the year, news broke that Dragon Ball Z and Adidas Originals were collaborating. As rumored, the forthcoming collab highlights three of the anime’s most memorable battles. Each face-off will be getting its own two-sneaker pack. Things kick off this month with the “Son Goku vs Frieda” battle. The duo display colorways from the respective character's iconic look. Representing Son Goku is the ZX 500 RM, sitting atop a Boost midsole, dressed in an orange upper, combined with yellow mesh panels and blue accents. The Yung 1 chunky runner symbolizes Frieza. The kicks feature a white-based upper with purple hints to mimic the character's shiny skin. The rest of the collection will continue launching throughout the end of the year. Each sneaker comes housed in a specially designed shoe box featuring an image of the character who inspires the design. The Adidas Originals logo is in place of the star in Dragon Ball Z‘s orange circle motif as well. Rumored to be included within each shoe box is a figurine of the corresponding character. In celebration of the collection, BAIT hosted a special event at their Los Angeles location over the weekend on September 28th. All of the kicks were on display, including recent release Adidas ZX 500 RM "Goku" and the Adidas Yung 1 "Frieza.” Click through the gallery below to take a look at DBZ Goku and Frieza Adidas sneakers.
