Cardi B Has Been Served Once Again!

Looks like Cardi B isn’t off the legal hook just yet. 2018 was a great year for the “Money” femcee as she transitioned to mainstream, broke musical records, and took over the charts. We have to take the good with the bad and where there was good - came bad. Last year, Cardi found herself in a couple of legal mishaps from the bar scuffle to the 2018 Met Gala fan beatdown.

On Wednesday (January 9th), Cardi was in New York City to begin filming for the upcoming hip-hop competition series on Netflix, “Rhythm + Flow.” As she walks on set into SOB’s in Manhattan (South Village area) she is seen laughing and joking with a swarm of photographers on camera before being served with papers. In the clip Cardi seems at a lost for words as she continues to make her way inside.

According to The Blast, the same gentleman, Giovanni Arnold, who was suing Offset and Cardi last year has issued a new set of lawsuit papers and served them. When asked why he has waited so long to serve the hip-hop on again off again couple, he says:

“seven months pregnant at the time of the assault and, out of respect and consideration for her and her baby’s well being, as well as that of her finance, Offset, I chose not to immediately serve”

Arnold goes on to say that he tried serving Offset last August in front of the London NYC but wasn’t successful because the Migos’ rapper threw the documents out the window of his SUV and drove away. The former fan is suing the hip-hop love birds because he claims that on May 5th, 2018 following the New York City hosted 2018 met Gala, he was attacked by three of their bodyguards. He also states that he ended up having to go to the hospital for his alleged face, neck, back and body injuries and sued seeking unspecified damages.

The case is currently on going but as more details roll in, we will keep you posted!
